One of my closest friends described me as having “the mind of an engineer and the soul of an artist.” It took a while for me to realize that meant I should be a designer. Design perfectly melds the ideal and the practical, the what-if and the how-to. My career took me down a wandering path from engineer to product manager to designer, but the unifying theme is: build things that help others achieve. I apply that mindset to managing people and designing products (mostly enterprise or B2B).
Outside of work I enjoy reading, long walks up big hills, snowboarding, and trying new recipes.
